'Liberty Bells'
(C. bulbispermum Jumbo x Rose City Schoolhouse)

Crinum 'Liberty Bells'
A C. bulbispermum Jumbo-type plant was the pod parent and one of the Rose City Schoolhouse scabrum-type plants provided the pollen. The flowers are white with magenta-red stripes. All of the progeny are similar and have barely blue-green foliage even though the parent plant was glaucous. Marcelle has chose the very best plant, one with bell-like flowers, and named it 'Liberty Bells'.

Crinum 'Liberty Bells'

Un-named seedling of the C. bulbispermum Jumbo x Rose City Schoolhouse crosses.
June 20, 2008 - Marcelle reports 'One of the unnamed C. bulbispermum Jumbo x Rose City Schoolhouse seedlings as it looks today. It has multiplied and set seeds for which I am so glad. It has light colored bulbispernum foliage and the flowers are recurved with dark keels, looking like one of the Rose City Schoolhouse Scabrums'.
