Mike Burnett died on December 27, 2010.

Mike was our webmaster. Mike designed our layouts and graphics, optimized our photographs, proofread our documents, then assembled the various components into the online document we call the 'Crinums In East Texas - Notes from Marcelle Sheppard' Website. Like the rest of our 'team' Mike volunteered his time, skills, and efforts to creating this site.

Mike grew Crinum for many years and after meeting Marcelle Sheppard, acquired a good case of Crinum fever. His gardening interests also included growing palms, succulents, and giant tropical bamboo.
